Sassy Kea Designs – Surface Pattern Designer for Licensing

I’m Saskia, the artist behind Sassy Kea Designs, creating original seamless repeat patterns and surface pattern collections for licensing. Inspired by my travels around the world and my New Zealand roots, I now design from Queensland, Australia, where nature, country living, and family life influence every collection.

My work features a soft, natural colour palette and a timeless warmth, blending boho country farmhouse style with modern vintage charm. I create licensable artwork for wallpaper companies, fabric manufacturers, home décor brands, children’s clothing labels, stationery brands, and boutique product lines. From classic trailing wallpaper designs for interiors to playful animals and florals for kids’ apparel, raincoats, nursery décor, and paper goods, my patterns are designed to bring beauty, story, and subtle artistry to products and spaces.

Art directors and creative teams will find a growing portfolio of print-ready, seamless surface pattern designs, available for both exclusive and non-exclusive licensing. I also offer custom pattern development tailored specifically to your brand and product range.

My collections are created digitally in Illustrator and prepared for professional production across fabric, wallpaper, and lifestyle products. Selected designs are also available through my Spoonflower shop on fabric, wallpaper, and homewares.
